President Bill Clinton in North Korea

90px-44_Bill_Clinton_3x4Former President Bill Clinton arrived in North Korea today, reportedly to seek the release of jailed US journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee.

President Clinton’s was met at the airport by North Korean officials, among them chief nuclear negotiator Kim Kye Gwan and Yang Hyong Sop, vice president of parliament. He is also reported to have met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.

We wish President Clinton every success on this unannounced visit.
